,
Oh my gosh have SO MUCH FUN! I lived there for a few years and just went back for a quick trip and basically ate my way through the city. Below are a few of my favorite spots in my old neighborhood of The Mission which have all been there for almost ten years:
Tartine! Delicious bakery. BEST bread.
Bi-Rite Creamery! So many good ice cream flavors.
Delfina! If you’re craving pizza.
Ritual! Delightful coffee.
Shotwells! An unassuming looking beer/wine bar run by lovely folks.
I’m sure Justin will have a whole itinerary for you though!
Tartine Manufactory for dinner!
The Petrale Sole is amazing!
Tartine Manufactory is beautiful, but the food is overrated. The Morris is just around the corner and the food is incredible!
Go eat brunch at Trou Normand! It’s adorable and SO GOOD.
Tartine also has NUTS queues all the time. B Patisserie is easily as good (I think better), and while it has queues, they don’t go round the block all day.
I’ve been digging Souvla in Hayes Valley or Divisadero St.
Oh, and 20th Century Cafe in Hayes Valley is delightful.
aw, fun!!! Dinner at foreign cinema, grab drinks at el techo rooftop bar beforehand! And if you have time, a stroll around dolores park and get bi-rite ice cream for dessert π
Since you’ll be at airbnb, you must must MUST visit Bellota, a spanish tapas restaurant connected to the airbnb HQ. Beautiful bar area w/ lively music π
I made a SF travel blog for my friends that is more detailed with activities and my favorite attractions π
ZUNI CAFE – classic SF, just the best, get the roast chicken
Petite Crenn and walk around hayes valley
Liholiho Yacht Club (not the best neighborhood but amazing food)
St Frank Coffee on polk st
Outerlands, Plow or Nopa for brunch
Sunday off-the-grid in the presido if you have a later flight out
JAX winery on Brannan st is like Napa in San Francisco! (only open Tues-Friday, super cute fire pit
Ferry buidling and Ferry plaza farmers market on saturday
The Progress for dinner. Mind BLOWING. Special. Delectable. Stunning.
Liholiho Yacht Club for their secret homemade spam. It’s amazing.
Nopalito
NoPa
The House in North Beach. A little Asian fusion spot that’s amazing.
have fun!
very cool!
