HI THERE

IMG_7425

hiiiii everyone! i just got back from mexico city and of course i am sick again (i just can’t seem to stay away from this head cold. it feels like my immune system never really fully recovers) always looking for remedies. joanie made me a delicious smoothie for wellness on my snapchat (designlovefest) if you’re interested.

mexico city was a real blast, can’t wait to recap it for you. it felt like i was always looking down at something pretty, hence these three photos. today i’m catching up on a toooon of work that always piles up when i go out of town and have bad internet. but happy to be home with my kitties and my own bed in los angeles.

i’m still deciding on what to do for the 4th of july. i am always so bad at planning holiday weekends for some reason. they overwhelm me. but that’s probably all in my head. anyway, back to work…lots of love! -bri

Can’t wait for a more detailed post on your trip to mexico city! I’m hoping to go in September for three weeks around Mexico!

Not sure how you feel about alternative medicine, but I swear by colloidal silver. I take it in the morning and night after brushing my teeth. It’s a natural immunity booster and really helps keep those low grade sore throats and head colds in check. So helpful for a traveler like you who is flying and coming and going from different climates.

Your photos from your trip were so adorable! Was dying over all the pink and gorgeous color. Same here on 4th of July plans- totally snuck up on me this year.

Zinc, echinacea, vitamin C, and those B vitamins! Hope you feel better soon, Bri!

These are all great remedies, I use them all the time for prevention.

Elderberry syrup, especially homemade has antiviral properties, the best thing though is wash your hands or use sanitizer after touching ATMs, carts, door handles etc. I work with patients who are immunocompromised and I always tell them to think of the kid with the snotty nose touching the shopping cart before you, kind of a gross image but a good visual reminder for them!
