    Kit says:

1940’s. Slim, knee-length pencil skirts and tailored suits worn with red lipstick. As the country was a war and textiles were in short supply, people got creative with what they had and I love that aspect of it. No matter what the circumstances, women get creative and always manage to look amazing!

My favorite decade for vintage would have to be the 1970s. It had a boho sense with the fashion during that time which I love! It was an era of rebellion and I love that! Fashion is all about doing things out of the box! Also you can’t go wrong with a middle part and big wavy hair! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Tiffany says:

I would definitely say the 40s and 50s. I love the different styles that started but also the elegance that it is paired with for women. Plus the suits for the men were starting to take form, to me, from more than just work clothes. But I definitely love the 50s the most ๐Ÿ™‚

Post-war 1940’s – classic and feminine, leading into the 1950s. Love the detailed hats, pumps and dresses that created beautiful silhouettes and outfits.

Sososososo hard to say but I’m going to go with the 20s as I feel like that’s one decade that’s hard to mimic using modern day reproductions. Oh, to be drinking champagne with Scott and Zelda! What does a girl have to do?

I know this is THE most cliche answer, but you asked…my favorite decade for vintage clothing is the 1920s because I wish I could go back in time and live in Paris during the 1920s (I told you it was cliche). But hey, there’s a reason it’s cliche, because it sounds absolutely amazing! Midnight in Paris, anyone?

    jasmine says:

a 50’s nautical look of course <3 <3 navy and red, polka dots and stripes. Seriously whats not to love!
